Hi there! My name is Kennedy, founder and CEO of Presley Flowers.

Presley was born out of a passion for sustainability and the realization that so many of my friends and colleagues are spending thousands of dollars on event florals that are being discarded as soon as the event concludes. When I started digging into why that was happening, I found that there are actually three groups of people with three separate “pain points” in this ecosystem:

Meet the Founder

  • Did you know that the average floral budget in the US for a 100 person wedding ranges from $10,000 - $50,000. No matter what type of event they are hosting / planning, the people we work with cannot stand the idea of throwing beautiful (expensive) flowers away. We agree! Discarding healthy flowers is sad and extremely wasteful.

  • Did you know that florists are the ones taking care of the event “strike” (industry term for the clean up process at the end of an event)? Sticking around to clean up can add 5+ hours to the florist team’s day. I cannot believe that event-days are that long, that labor-intensive and, at the end of it all, the florists are throwing their own work into the garbage.

  • Selfishly, I grew tired of paying $100+ for a beautiful bouquet. Though I am unbelievably appreciative of the artistry involved in floral design, I am simply not at a place in my life where I can afford to keep that level of flower in my home (and I’m the girl who always needs flowers in her home).

Founder, Kennedy Schumacher, and her partner, Lorenzo Iacomini, enjoying one of their best friend's weddings. Kennedy says that Lorenzo is critical to Presley's success - encouraging her to get started, but also acting as her first employee.

Enter Presley:

A solution that benefits every group I just mentioned. Event hosts and florists can take part in minimizing waste, the florists’ team can reduce late night working hours, and even end consumers can buy bouquets for less.

Whether you’re hosting an event in 2025, a planner, a florist, or just a flower lover, we would love to work with you! Check out our services page to see how we work with each type of Presley customer.
